April fool day falls all over the world on 1st April & generally is regarded as a famous day for the pranks. The pranksters especially love the day as they like to make jokes. A news that came on the media with the essence of most seriousness & soberness. Declared as a prank or a joke later, i.e. precisely related to April 1st. A thing that caused chaos. Apart from just chaos. Published on 1st of April, its the level of confusion regards to the similar news. However, in fact it’s real rather than just being fake or a prank story. For print media 1st April hasn’t been the best of the days making since April fool’s day was more or less declared a day for the pranks & the pranksters.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF APRIL FOOL’S DAY:
The April fool’s day is a light-hearted comic day of cheers, practical jokes and hoaxes. The day has been an observation for centuries, although what’s the exact origin of the day is still not clear. It has been suggested that in ancient Rome & the Hindu cultures, the day originally marked the New Year’s Day.
It was in the year 1582 that Pope Gregory XIII issued the Gregorian calendar. A calendar which moved the New Year’s Day from 1st April to 1st January. However, in those days, people who still celebrated the day on April 1st were regarded as fools. Thus, the tradition of the day started from 1582 from the times of Pope Gregory XIII. Ironically, as for many years people wrongly celebrated the New Year’s Day. Were called as Fools, i.e. on April 1st. Later, the day in modern times transformed to its original theme, i.e. a day of pranks & jokes, while the origins are from the Gregorian times.
However, the custom of April fool day was brought from Britain to the US centuries ago. It is popular both amongst the kids & the adults in North America & in Europe have developed traditional customs to celebrate & observe the day. The custom typically includes fooling another person & yelling April Fools.

APRIL FOOL’S DAY CELEBRATIONS IN CANADA:
The day will be a celebration in Canada this year on 1st April 2023. Surprisingly, as the day is falling on a Saturday. It’s a weekend, therefore, there are many chances the day shall be a huge day full of celebrations. Observed as an off-day in Canada is the Saturday for obvious reasons. The power of media has taken the day to new & improved heights with candid camera jokes & many T.V programs that have been originated from the notion of April fool’s Day pranks.
