‘Saving the earth’ or ‘Friends of Mother Earth’, two beautiful & yet importantly written phrases might have slightly different meanings. However, the motto is very close to sustainability of mother earth. At the same time, an important question arises. How you can Save the Earth through Recycling? A nearly important and good question as saving the earth is truly an example creator itself. Hence, while being an environmentalist. Recycling creates a higher level awareness in an individual that can move towards the society. Hence, as it saves the environment in at least a couple of ways. It shows that recycling plastics, paper and other different products is a demonstration of the ideologies. These ideologies conveys that you don’t have to be an Einstein to save the earth every day.

However, we need to remember and keep an eye as recycling is highly crucial to the future health of our planet earth in many ways; Here are a few;

CONSERVING THE NATURAL RESOURCES:

There are many natural resources that belongs to the planet earth. Importantly, as the gorgeous planet is the most abundant of all in terms of the resources. The richness of the resources is simply finite. Furthermore, not measurable while moving from continent to continent. However, at a basic level these are some of the resources that needs to be discussed and they are as follows;

  • RECYCLING PLASTICS:

This simply means creating less new plastics which is surely a positive thing. Especially, in terms of the results. This is especially true as plastics are made from fossil fuel hydrocarbons.

  • RECYCLING METALS:

Another recycling of the natural resources includes metals. Particularly, as for the sake of a better environment there is less need for risky, expensive and damaging mining. Finally, the extraction of new metal ores.

  • RECYCLING PAPER & WOOD:

The recycling of paper is the most common recycling as paper is still the most commonly used material in modern times. Most people including organisations are going paperless for the sake of saving the earth. They not only want to save the paper. However, also the cost of the paper as well.

The recycling of wood saves the trees and forests while you can also plant new trees. How there is no replacement for ancient woodlands and virgin rain-forest once they are lost.

  • RECYCLING GLASS:

Recycling glass which sounds hard to believe, but it’s true. Importantly, as it reduces the need to use Sand, which is a natural resource. However, due to this, the supplies of some types of sand are getting to low figures.

SAVES ENERGY TO A HIGHER EXTENT:

Amazing & surprising to know how recycling save the energy to very high extents. Making products from the recycled materials definitely requires less amount of energies. Hence, as compared to making them from new raw materials. This is most of the time when it’s a huge difference in energy, if calculated precisely. As an example, we can say that making paper from pulped recycled paper uses a huge 44% less energy than otherwise. That is, making it from virgin wood fires.

TACKLES THE UNEMPLOYMENT OF YOUTH:

How recycling can tackle the unemployment of the youth? As this is evident that Coronavirus the pandemic has been a devastation for many people in their lives. At the same time it has been a massive cause of unemployment for many people.

Therefore, it’s a huge reason that the Govt. should consider investing & popping themselves in a number of new green jobs. These are jobs that are for the sake of environmental protection and sustainability & recycling of materials. Instead of getting into a career where you won’t be required after a period of a decade or maybe a bit more. It’s far more worthwhile & profitable to invest your energy and potential into a career that should last for a lifetime. Recycling & environmental protection is one of those areas & its where having a job is still worthwhile. Not only this, it largely helps in tackling the unemployment of the youth.

PROTECTS THE ECO-SYSTEM & THE WILDLIFE:

Recycling protects the Eco-system & the wildlife. Ironically, as it reduces the need to grow, harvest or extract new raw material from the earth. This definitely in turn lessens the harmful disruption. Furthermore, the damages being done to the natural world. Things that are good for the environmental protection includes fewer forests cut down & rivers diverted. Finally, the wild animals’ displaced or harmed and far lesser pollution of water soil and air.

CUTTING DOWN CARBON EMISSIONS:

Recycling the material cuts down carbon emissions which results in climate change. Obviously, as recycling means that you need to consume less energy on sourcing. Additionally, processing the new raw materials. Hence, it produces lower carbon emissions. As well as also keeps potentially methane-releasing waste out of landfill sites.

For the sake of reducing the effects of climate change, it’s important that we reduce CO2 emissions. Hence, as well as other dangerous gases. These are greenhouse gases and are very unhealthy and dangerous for the environment. Thus, all these can be a massive cause & a source of contributions to the disastrous climate change.
