Comedian Raju Shrivastava: Critical and on ventilator

Comedian & Stand-up king Raju Shrivastava, 58 was admitted to AIIMS Delhi. Hence, after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday. Later on after suffering heart attack. In an emergency, the comedian got treatment of Angioplasty.
Popular actor and comedian Raju Shrivastava remains “critical as well as on a ventilator”. Happened at the ICU in the AIIMS here, sources told the media on Friday.

“Shrivastava remains critical and on ventilator within the ICU,” the source said to PTI.

Dr Nitish Naik is taking care of the comedian, a professor in the cardiology department at AIIMS.

His cousin Ashok Shrivastava had on Wednesday evening reported that the comedian had suffered an attack of the heart while working out.

“The comedian was exercising as a routine exercise, and as he was running when he fell. He suffered a heart attack. AIIMS Hospital Delhi. The hospice in the city Delhi, where immediately taken was Shrivastava”. According to actor’s report to PTI. Also, added that his wife, the actor-comedian’s wife Shikha Srivastava made it to Delhi.

Entertainment industry & comedy is what Shrivastava has been actively involved in as a comedian. Since, the mid-80s, earned recognition for his participation in the debut series of comedy stand-up. “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” in 2005.

He has been in Hindi films like “Maine Pyar Kiya”, “Baazigar”, “Bombay to Goa” (remake) and “Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya”. He was among those contestants in “Bigg Boss” season three.

Shrivastava is the present chairperson of the Film Development Council Uttar Pradesh.
