Anne Heche in critical condition she is on ventilator following the crash

LOS ANGELES (AP) -Los Angeles (AP) – Anne Heche remained hospitalized on ventilator to aid her breathe. She was scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, just four days after the actress was injured in a flaming car crash.

“Shortly after the incident, Anne Heche became unconscious. Thus, falling into a coma. Further, is now in critical medical condition,” spokeswoman Heather Duffy Boylston stated via email. “She suffers a serious pulmonary injury that requires mechanical ventilation as well as burns that require surgery.”

Pulmonary refers to issues with the lung. The information was not given to Duffy Boylston, who is podcast and friend of Anne Heche .

On August. 5, the car of Anne crashed into a home located in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles Westside. There was a blaze and Anne Heche was the only one in the vehicle. The vehicle was rescued by firefighters from the car that was encased in the home. It took more than 60 firefighters over an hour to put out the flames. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

An Ohio native, Anne Heche first came to fame in the NBC soap show. “Another World” from 1987 until 1991. During which time she was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award.

Her film career began in the latter half of 1990, with Anne acting alongside stars like Johnny Depp (“Donnie Brasco”) and Harrison Ford (“Six Days, Seven Nights”).
