The Goldbergs To Kill Off Jeff Garlin’s Character

The Goldbergs on ABC will not have the patriarch when it returns in Season 10 on September. 21 Jeff Garlin’s Murray Goldberg character has been taken away.

The story, as reported by EW is the result of the departure the last season Garlin from the show. The actor was accused of displaying inappropriate behaviour and was the victim of HR investigation.

In a recent interview, host Alex Barnow tells EW. That the Murray character will be absent for a few months before the plot lines of the new season of the Goldbergs begin. “This will be a family who isn’t reconciled with how their father is gone. Whoever, has gone on with their lives and had to deal with that,”he explained. “We’re getting excited about the birth of [Erica’s] child and we’re looking ahead to the future. This provides an opportunity to develop a fascinating emotional foundation of how people behave.”
